Kelly Clarkson, an American singer-songwriter and actress who won the American Idol competition in its first season, became America's Sweetheart. The win not only catapulted her to stardom, but also earned her a multi-album recording contract together with RCA Records 19 Recordings and 'S Records. In the years since her debut her album, she's released several albums. Three of those albums made it to the top of the US Billboard 200. The other albums came near the top. Her name is among the most popular performers on American Idol. In order to achieve success, she tried out different music styles and experimented on topics. To acknowledge her talents and individuality, she has received a lot of praise as well as awards. Notably, she's won the Grammy Award a record three times.
